One year each biological sciences and general chemistry; one semester organic chemistry or biochemistry; and BIOS 312 or parallel.
One semester of organic chemistry and one semester biochemistry recommended. BIOS 312 parallel recommended.Credit towards the degree may not be earned in both BIOS 313 and 314.
Traditional microbiology techniques without recombinant DNA methods.
