CHEM 110 or 114, with a minimum grade of C; CHEM 253 or parallel.
CHEM 116 or 221 recommended. CHEM 251 and 252, with their corresponding labs of CHEM 253 and 254, form a continuous basic course.
Chemistry of carbon compounds. Applications to the biological sciences, agriculture and pre-professional programs including premedical and pre-dental. Emphasizes basic principles.
