Prereqs:
CHEM 114 and 116 with minimum grades of C, or CHEM 221 with minimum grade of C.
Parallel: CHEM 263. Students having credit in CHEM 251, or its equivalent, may not receive credit in CHEM 261.
CHEM 261 and 262, together with lab courses 263 and 264, form a continuous basic course covering the important compounds of carbon.
This course is a prerequisite for: CHEM 262, CHEM 263, CHEM 263A, CHEM 264, CHEM 264A
