ANTH 419/819: Art and Anthropology of Native North Americans

Explores the art of indigenous peoples in the United States. A spectrum of styles, contexts and symbolic meaning will be studied in addition to social aspects of taste, and issues concerning cultural appropriation and the repatriation of religious iconography.
