Prereqs: 3 hrs sociology or related social sciences.
Overview of sociological theories and research on the experiences of different racial, religious, and ethnic groups. Concepts of race and ethnicity, including their social construction.  Historical and contemporary racial and ethnic relations and patterns of inequality. Intersections of race, social institutions, and social policies.
