Introduction to 3-dimensional sculpture and design using studio production, problem solving, critical dialog, and an overview of 20th century design and sculpture history.

Prereqs: SCLP211 or SCLP111 with grade of B or better and declared art minor
Introduction to subtractive processes. Basic skill development using a variety of mold making processes and materials.
This course is a prerequisite for: SCLP 311
Prereqs: Senior standing, co-register with ARTP 400 Capstone Art Experience; and permission
SCLP 499 should be taken during the final semester of the BA or BFA in art. If the final semester is summer, then course should be taken during the preceding spring semester.
Culminating experience in Area of Emphasis to produce work for the Capstone Art Exhibition.
